Mission

CLESOG is dedicated to advancing the health of individuals receiving obstetric and gynecologic care through education, clinical practice, and research.

Vision

We envision a community in which clinicians work together to provide safe, high-quality, and compassionate obstetric and gynecologic care. We strive to:

  • Promote excellence in clinical practice
  • Educate clinicians and the public
  • Encourage collaboration across professions and institutions
  • Support policies that improve access to safe, compassionate care
  • Advance scientific research that enhances patient health

History

Founded in 1940, CLESOG has brought together physicians and other health care professionals committed to improving obstetric and gynecologic care throughout Northeast Ohio. For more than 85 years, the Society has fostered learning, collaboration, and professional connection across institutions and disciplines — through educational programs, scientific presentations, research support, and recognition of emerging and established leaders.
