Fellow Awards

What is it?

Recognizes a fellow who demonstrates leadership, service, and exceptional potential to improving the health of the populations they serve. Awardees are chosen by the CLESOG Executive Council.

 

Who is eligible?

Current fellows at a Cleveland or Akron area Obstetrics & Gynecology fellowship training program  (may be ACGME accredited or non-ACGME accredited). At least one letter of support or nomination must be from an individual who is an active member of CLESOG.

 

What is the Award Amount?

$500 and a reward certificate

 

When is it Awarded?

At the conclusion of the annual CLESOG Research Day

 

Application Elements and Submission

Applications should be emailed to clesog@gmail.com prior to March 1st 2026.

 

Required Elements

  • Nomination letter from faculty, hospital leadership, or a community member

  • Letter of recommendation from your program director (if different person than faculty above)

  • 1,000 word limit personal statement highlighting how you align with the goals of the award

  • Curriculum Vitae

  • Any other supporting materials you would like to include
