Research Day Awards

What is it?

Recognizes excellence in research by trainees in Obstetrics & Gynecology and their subspecialty fields. Judges are selected by the CLESOG Executive Committee and represent expertise in the field of Obstetrics & Gynecology across multiple academic institutions. Awards will be decided on multiple factors, including but not limited to: originality of research idea, appropriate use of research methodology, difficulty and commitment required to complete the research, and expected impact of research on the field of obstetrics & gynecology.

 

Who is eligible?

Residents and fellows who present original research at the annual CLESOG Research Day

 

What is the Award Amount?

Residents: $300 (1st place), $200 (2nd place), $100 (3rd place)

Fellows: $300 (1st place), $200 (2nd place), $100 (3rd place)

 

When is it Awarded?

At the conclusion of the annual CLESOG Research Day

 

Application Elements and Submission

All residents (or their administrative proxies) must declare their intention to present by emailing clesog@gmail.com prior to April 1st 2026.
